What to expect on your first visit
When you arrive, Hunter will greet you and show you through to the treatment room, where you'll be met by the resident retriever, Loui.
You'll be invited to make yourself comfortable, lie down on the massage couch and cover up with the blanket and modesty towels provided, having undressed to the level that suits your treatment. For a back, neck and shoulders session, for example, you would only take off your top half. Underwear stays on throughout, both for your own modesty and to keep a clear boundary between client and therapist.
Water is on hand whenever you want it. You'll be given a cold glass once the treatment is finished. You are welcome to ask for one at any point along the way. Hunter will also offer you a sugary snack afterward. It is common to feel a little light-headed once you stand up from the couch, so a bite of something sweet helps bring your blood sugar back up.
When you are ready, you'll settle up by whatever method suits you best, whether that is bank transfer, contactless card or cash.
